Lazy J Knives And Krafts

A Disabled Veteran Small Business

Mr J is a disabled US Army veteran with 20 years of service. He participated in several conflicts such as Desert Storm Iraqi/Enduring Freedom. He also particiipated in several humanitarian relief missions and was even federal law enforcement for the 2002 Winter Olympics which was held in Salt Lake City, Utah. He loves his country and being a son of a naturalized immigrant he is proud to say he is an American. He values Integrity, Honor and kindness, he despises those who lie and disrespect you.

He is a son of a Slovenian immigrant who survived the atrocities of the Nazis. Once WWII was over his family suffered because of the communist TiTo Regime. He was forced into a coal mine at the age of 13 and they worked for rations. They eventually escaped the eastern block and migrated to Australia where his fought in Malaysia for the Australian Army so he could gain citizenship. Then in 1964 his father traveled to NewYork on the Queen Mary to see the worlds fair. He then made his way to Colorado where he met Mr. J's mother. He then applied for citizenship. And when Mr. J was 1 year old his father had to self deport and reapply for a visa in British Honduras. Took him months and he waited because he didnt believe in breakin the law. His father became a naturalized citizen when he was 3. Mr J does not care for those individuals who cut the line and enter illegally. If his father can do it the right way, then they can to.

He is a father of two successful children, a daughter and a son. And after 39 years of marriage, he now gets to enjoy his 3 grandchildren. His grandson is taking after his "PaPa" and becoming a metal artist and mechanic. Mr J passed some his knowledge to him and taught him how to forge a knife at the age of 13 and his grandson has been hooked ever since.

Mr J takes pride in his work whether it's good or bad. Although he is his worst critic.
